Its a Ross built bike, I believe a 7005 alloy frame. Love the color scheme, similar to my a2ms. The s at the end of the names just denotes suspension. I saw this ad a few days ago. Idk if he really wants 400 but of he does its a bit steep imo. I do t understand why the ad says 399+ tax though. It’s almost like its nos that has been sitting in a store all these years or something

Looks really clean, if I didn’t already have 6 steel framed cudas in this size, two of them being a2e’s I would pick it up

As of now I’m limiting my buying to mainly the more obscure ones, if I find them in 16 I’d still have to snatch up a 95 XX team, a 95 comp (mines 14) another easton, a2x or a2t. Also a couple of the Ross built models like the xxxc and the late 90s comps with the long travel triple crown fork and disc brakes would be of interest, although i have yet to see amy or hear of anyone having one in real life

5’2″, maybe 5’3″ on a good day. She would probably be better suited to a 14 but I tend to find a slightly smaller bike is usually easier to throw around on tight trails

You have a good point. When I landed on my neck at 20 mph deep in the woods last summer and couldn’t move I was happy to have my phone. Then I realized I had no service, and then I realized that I couldn’t talk, I could just grunt. Eventually I did manage to move enough to get a call through and was thankful. Even though it didn’t work at first it made me a little more hopeful about the situation and eventually I managed. Had I not had it I would probably still be laying there now :p

Well, I would love to be the one to give you good news but the market is not too hot for these bikes right now, or anything from this era besides things like yeti, klein, fat chance and a few other top tier brands.Barracudas have a very small (but loyal) following, but the sad reality is that they are often worth more in parts. The last A2T’s that I saw went for 400-500, to give you a rough idea. I did see one for 800 last year but it was seriously hooked up. He was trying to sell it for months. Don’t think it ever did end up selling. I would say your best bet would be trying to find someone looking to trade a road bike for an mtb. Your dollar will probably go further that way. I wish I could say that these things were worth more, and on occasion someone may pay a premium for something that they really desire but its a very limited market now

Well it arrived today. Very similar to my 95 Comp but Ross used clearcoat over the brushed section whereas the comp was bare. Also no visible easton markings on the tubeset whereas the comp had easton program varilite stamping just behind the headtube. Can’t wait to start the build. I think I will keep it simple as its for the girlfriend, probably xt group all around. Going for the low maintenance, minimal bling thing this time

Payment sent, ill pm you an address a little later. There was a nice set of bontrager race lite discs on eBay a couple days ago in all black. May be worth looking into. I always found them pretty nice and light, and they sell for reasonable amount

LOL you have that beautiful A2T, why would you need anything else? :D
Jeez, who needs more than one bike anyway? Not like you can ride them all at once Hehe

My new rule is for every new frame I get, I need to sell two. So far my proflex 855 and LTS are first on my list to sell

Interested. Tell you what, since I know its prob not something you particularly want to sell, I will take it and if you ever want it back just let me know. In the meantime I may look into making some reproductions if cost effective

Well the XX was someone else…I bought mine in like October of ’09. For some reason I think someone on the forum did win it though but I’m not positive

Not sure if its the same seller but last year the same bike was for sale starting at 800. I believe former owner was a manager of the cuda/nautilus team or something. If it wasn’t so big i would be interested

Guilty. Setting it up for the Mrs- i have a pretty good build together so far. I bid 180 and was pleasantly surprised when i got the alert that it closed for 60.05

First bike purchase i’ve made in the last few weeks. Wisdom teeth came in partly but not enough room, i’ve been dying…I’ve checked in from time to time but haven’t even logged on here for a couple weeks.
