    Mark i think we may have brothers ;)

    I’m not going to be home for a couple days but if im not mistaken mine was b1306. Kind of funny if our frames were in the factory at the same time

    I have the magicshine combo and i love it. The 900 on the helmet and the 1400 on bars. Its as much light as i could possibly want on any road and more than enough for almost all trails around here. Honestly it IS enough, but lights are addictive and the more i have the more i want. When i first got the 900 it seemed like enough and now i just want more and more

    These are great value for the money, i lent them to a worker at my lbs who sells niterider and he was blown away

    I’m not going that crazy on this one so if a fellow member really wants its let me know and i will back off. As long as it goes to a good home i will be happy. I’ve kind of been running a retirement home for neglected cudas here, every time i come across abused ones or things priced so low i feel they have the potential to fall in the wrong hands i jump in and snatch them up. I will keep buying indefinitely :)

    Great story! That just made my day!

    I have a ~54cm custom built Dean frame that they apparently built a small run of for simply fit. Racing in the early/mid 90s. Its an easton tubeset that came with almost complete old dura ace save for a few bits and no wheels i picked up for 200 on ebay. Planning on throwing on a set of spinergys this spring and finisbing her up. This will be the first road bike i owned so im curious to see how much better it really is than riding my mtbs with semislicks. Last summer i was keeping up with a lot of the local roadie crew on my a2e w 2.0″ speedmax betas, only falling off at the end of very long rides. Im guessing that under those circumstances the road bike makes a.difference

    Mine is a2l010620. It has the non tange labeling and has a freakishly large seat tube by cuda standards. Is yours built w tange tubeset? What size seatpost does it have?

    The A2L is actually the most recent addition to the stable. I bought it on ebay last week and it was in Connecticut with local pickup only. Since i alway had an interest in that frame (XX Team colors on a steel frame cant be beat!) and it fit me i emailed him, made a deal with the seller and actually am driving to the ferry (I live on long island) and going over by foot and he’s meeting me with the bike this afternoon.

    I’m pretty excited…contemplating keeping it stock but it may be too tempting to throw some of the red anodized goodies i have in the parts cabinet on there after looking at Marks bike and the A2FX. They seem to lend themselves to the white/gold paint scheme

    Haha i don’t think thats going to happen, most of your stuff seems to be a lot cleaner than mine. A few of mine are pretty beat actually, especially the 95 Comp.

    I am actually tossing around the idea of stripping it, repainting and making it into a 95 UNLTD replica. I already have some of the parts that were on the build in the catalog sitting around and the Comp i have has the dihedral top tube and for some reason was made of ProGram Varilite, Not the Elan like stated in the specs. So it should be pretty close in detail i would think

    I actually bought this frame, it arrived and aside from the crack in the seat tube was in as near flawless condition as i could have ever hoped for. It was a pleasant surprise, i’ve had bikes a year old that get more wear than it showed

    As soon as i have a free day its getting dropped of at Chelsea bicycle in brooklyn to have the seat tube either repaired or replaced at their discretion. They will also be reaming out the seat tube in a couple of my steel frames to accomodate a 26.8 just to make selection a bit easier

    EDIT: Yes, it is a 16! good eyes mark! I have wanted this frame since i was in middle school. When i got my first ‘Cuda the shop owner had this frame with a mag 21 SL TI and spin wheels and i have been lusting after that setup for 15 years now

    I have seen a few over the years but never in 16, so i knew that even if i end up spending a few hundred to fix the frame i had to go for it
