That is kinda weird that the bike was only 1 year old before it was stripped of it’s components. And is pretty beat up for only being ridden 1 year. I don’t know.. Maybe it was raced by the previous owner..
Not to say your bike is too beat up and all. Iffin it were me, I would build it up just the way it is. That is how I roll..
But really. My suggestion would be to check it out, real good, for hairline fractures before you build it. Don’t be gettin in denial about it. The crack thing is seen on many, many aluminum Barracuda’s of that time.
O yea.. Welcome to the site.. :ugeek:- July 18, 2012 at 7:37 pm

This bike is a fake and is probably a scam. It is an A2B with a XX Dos Equis stickers. The frame in the picture is a steel frame, yet the description says it is aluminum. Real XX Teams are 7005 series aluminum. Not one of the items in the description are on this bike. I wouldn’t even consider buying this bike. :ugeek:- July 13, 2012 at 1:48 pm

It would be some sort of steel. I wouldn’t trust the Made in USA chain guard to represent the frame’s manufacture origin. But you can’t go wrong for $25 buckaroo’s.
