That’s messed up.. That’s why it’s all beefed up in the first place. To prevent it from cracking. I think a lot of head tube cracking is due in part to a lack of detail when fitting the bearing cups with too tight of fit.

I have a bunch of those machined rings laying around, if anyone wants to reinforce their aluminum head tube..

These are the two images we are talking about. The one on the left is the original image on the ebay ad before he changed it to the one above. The right is Neo’s image.

Looks pretty choice. Appears to be 14″. But there is no way I would trust to send him money then have it shipped. Any one in the Brisbane are willing to check it out?
