Yes, that’s a great tip. If the post isn’t in the tube very much, you’re placing a lot of torque on a small area, and you’ll crack the seat tube near the top..

    H Gunther,

Nice bike you have! There is information on the 94 A2T on the “Bikes” page of the website. I believe this bike in its current condition would be worth between $150-$250, but it could go higher depending on the buyer.

Nice to have you here, I hope you keep it and ride!

Yeah, these early COMP’s have a soft spot in my heart. Best of luck on the rebuild and you should be able to find all the info you need here someplace.. :)

Still not finished! Complete U-turn on build… RST XMO (US made 8-) )
Hope disc on the front and possibly probably set up as a SS. A week and its done…

Wow, radical departure for sure! I’m sure that bike’s going to handle like an Orange County Chopper with that thing on there. Keep us posted, and let some of us (me) know if you wish to lose the Scott Unishock!

More goodness. This is a Barracuda Dealer Display composite. It’s original artwork from David Townsend, who created this to show the Barracuda leadership what a typical dealer would have on display. Circa 1992/93.

    ATI Tomac

They come in a few colours, including clear, purple, blue, etc. They’re all see-through. They may also have a black set which is not see-through, not sure.

Ever wondered what the original barracuda mascot looked like?

I’m not kidding. This is a piece of original artwork that David has provided. ;)

You guys make it what it is. :)

I wish I had more time to comb through the ads online. Darn shame about that last great find..
