I think the biggest benefit this story has is that we’ve seen it all documented from start to finish, complete with photos. Couldn’t have been a better tutorial, seriously.

Agreed; it’s a buyer’s market with Barracuda, and as you’ll see in the “Regrets” section, you’d likely wish you hadn’t sold it later on..- August 14, 2011 at 3:09 pm

Wow, awesome write-up! I could have sold you a spare XXTeam frame for $100, but it’s much better for you to save the actual frame you love for sure.Next, let’s see a repair of the head tube, because I have a cracked one of those. lol
