I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for the old Mag series forks. Wish list? The Mag21 SL Ti. ;)

You wouldn’t think it would be much different, but it really is.

The diff between me riding the Manitou EFC and the 3 is night and day, yet it’s not a huge difference in travel between the two.

Just comes down to what the frame is made for. :)

I really don’t think this is anywhere larger than a standard 18″, based on the length of the steerer. It’d have more of a gap between top and down tubes if 19 or 20.

I like the look of the A2Fast better, but it’s still not a light frame, as it was all cromoly steel and reinforced a bit to accomodate the linkage. I believe built up, it’s still a 27-29lb bike.

Lucky! Hard to find these without all the wear on the arms from shoes, pants, etc.

    Get out and ride!

It broke my heard to do it, but I had enough of the poor performance of my Ringle Slamma Jamma headset, so I swapped it out for a Chris King unit yesterday. Riding so much better now and I can’t wait to get out on the first epic ride of the season.

There are some rails converted to trails around here, and the wife and I will take our cudas approximately 40k perhaps next weekend.

Hadn’t heard of this buyer in particular, but there are a bunch of similar stories all over, both from the original “fire sale” in 95, and then when Ross dumped a bunch in that era.

I got my 97 from a guy in Florida who was ebaying them with great success and had a warehouse full. This was sometime in 2000/01.
