    *** Happy Friday the 4th of May ***

    Made it through another week… couple days off to get the head clear!

    I used to race road bikes way back and in college, so I’ve always loved the Spring Classics and the Grand Tours around Europe and finally here in the States too. From year to year you see teams come and go, I’m left wondering where some teams went and there’s usually no answers.

    With this picture, I have no questions, I know exactly where the Lampre Racing Team went… they were eaten by this guy!!!

    Yep… Manbeer still owes me a pair of Ringle “Peace Sign” cable hangers that I paid for right before he disappeared… kinda’ screwed! Oh well, the whole goes around thing is cool with me as it’ll come back to him. ;)

    Well, Earth Day came and went… I didn’t get the RASKAL rebuilt for a couple reasons, the paint for my Hunter SuperCrown fork to match has been backordered and I’ve missed winning a few auctions for the needed components to finish up the build. Oh well, that’s how it goes… patience grasshopper… when you can snatch the pebble from my hand…

    Anyway, I did manage to land a few more choice bits of bike jewelry… a NOS AC cnc’d brake booster, a NOS Tioga h’bar, a pair of Winwood “Decksters” clipless to platform pedal, a Thomson stem, and a PAUL “Thumbie” (for the 1×9 drivetrain), a PAUL Neo-Retro canti rear brake to go with the PAUL Cross Top brake lever.

    I’ll keep you posted as the build comes together.

    Next time someone shows up looking for offers on a sweet Cuda, I’m tossing $100.00 at ’em… I’d rather insult them with a low offer and get chewed out for doing so… that way I don’t have to feel like kicking myself (which is what I’ve wanted to do ever since he posted the sale price)!!! 😥

    Hey skubi1-

    Welcome to site!

    Can I ask why you are repainting the frame? It looks like it’s in great shape and yes, $35.00 is a good price! The only thing I could see doing is replacing the barracuda decal on the seat tube (denoting a post ’96 Ross made frame) with a TREES AMIGOS decal. The decal files are available on this forum. Good luck with the build, best to go slow and get great parts, that’s always been my rule of thumb with builds.

    New Friday Share Day!!!

    Not too much interest from the Cudahead gallery but you guys seemed to love the chubby gal with training wheels… believe me, I’m a sick and twisted person from time to time… if this week’s offering garners as little interest as last week’s, I’ll be forced to comb the internet for *select* images that will grab your attention! ;)
