I got busted on one of my neighborhood’s outlaw trails last November. I rode this loop one day. The next day, someone had cut the top off a couple of trees and blocked the trail. The next day I went back up there, and they did the same to the other part of the loop.. Bastids.. It was a cool loop too.. I have not been up there since as the weather turned rainy over the holidays. When it is wet, it is un-rideable. Maybe I will go up there this weekend and see if they fenced it off.. And take some pictures..- March 20, 2014 at 3:53 pm

I am doing Rodeo Austin these days instead of SXS*. SXS* can’t seem to get the pay right. I did 60 bands this year on the Rodeo Austins outdoor stage.- March 19, 2014 at 6:48 pm

- in reply to: 94 A2E seatpost size
The thing is… I found that some seatposts taper from top to bottom. That being said, where is the stated measurement from? Toward the seat or toward the opposite end? Thomson seatposts seem to be the same diameter all the way down top to bottom. So, the way to do this is to take the ID measurement of your seat tube just below the intersection of the top tube and seat stays. Source a seat post to that measurement or larger. Then ream the seat tube to fit the seatpost. This process worked for me as I had issues with the A2R’s seat post dropping while I was riding. The Thomson is the only way to go.
Here is an image of the tools and be sure to read this thread on my seatpost ordeal: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=714- February 6, 2014 at 8:39 pm

- in reply to: 95 A2M on Ebay
I remember when I bought the A2M in 94, it was the first level of Barracuda that had the LX hardware, clamp-on stem and double butted tubes. And as compared to the price of an A2X, ($2k+) $650 seemed like the best deal.- January 31, 2014 at 7:10 pm
