All my 7 speed Barracuda’s have the 111.72mm length spindels. Not sure about the 8 speed. I did try a 113mm on my A2R but the front derraileur seemed way out of what i would consider normal adjustment range.

I guess i misunderstood. If you are trying to buy a 14, we can try to find you one. I turned down an A2B in a 14 locally last year.

Have you measured it? My 93 A2R measured 111.72mm. I bought a Shimano 110mm 55 series bottom bracket for it. It had an actual spindle length of 111.70mm.

I would think a 16 would be an average size. I would normally choose a 16 for myself. But because of the length of the top tube on a Barracuda 16, I am more comfortable with a 14. Also gives me some extra gonad room. I have had a 16 Barracuda. Felt like riding a Cadillac. I am 5’7 with 30 inseam and wear 32 sleeves. The 14 just works for me. I have been seeing a lot of 14’s. I would think a 12 would be the rarest size of the Barracuda. Just my opinion. I seriously considered making a street bike out of a Barracuda 16.

My family served and fought for the Republic of Texas in 1846-1846. Which was while Texas was an independent sovereign nation in North America and before becoming a State by annexation into the United States.

That chair has been there for three years that I know of. I see those Coyotes every now and then. Usually they are splitting the scene.
