I bought a Shimano 110mm 55 series bottom bracket the other day. It had an actual spindle length of 111.70mm. Just saying..- August 18, 2013 at 11:36 pm

A couple of updated images of my XX Team at a ride in August 13. I can report that I really like the shifting and the brakes on this bike.- August 8, 2013 at 11:58 pm

I dunno. Considering the length of the top tube on a Barracuda 14″, it works for me. I’m 5’6.5″. with a 29″ inseam. 115mm stem. I tried a 16″ Barracuda. Seemed too long.- July 20, 2013 at 3:42 am

I checked the travel on my front derailleur and looks like the 110mm will be within adjustment. Thanks..

About 4 hours before it started raining. I was 25ft from Lake Michigan in that photo. Most of the trails were pretty tame but I did find a pretty good down hill on the Tower Trail. The bike was a Giant and was pretty much crap, but I made it work. It had a bottom bracket issue that made it sound like a bad wheel chair. Shifted OK and the brakes were good.
I found this thing at the edge of the woods and shore. At about 20 feet tall. It is a ship marker.- July 15, 2013 at 12:38 am

I wasn’t able to ride a Barracuda last week, being out of town and all, but I was able to ride the Ice Age Trail at Potawatomi State Park in Wisconsin on a rental. At 79 degrees, it was a lot cooler than triple digit temperatures of Austin, TX.- June 28, 2013 at 11:03 pm
