- in reply to: How has technology affected the way you ride?
I don’t ride with music but I can definately see where it might help keep the energy up during a tough climb or something. As for the cell phone, I put it in my camelback in case of emergency but don’t even think about it while I’m out there, I usually check it after I get every thing put away and back in the truck. My phone doesn’t have email or internet, I’d probably use it a lot more if it did.- March 16, 2011 at 1:01 am

Sounds good Manbeer, Your right that I don’t really want to get rid of it but I’d rather be able to build and ride my new cuda than just look at the banner on the wall so as much as Ive loved having that banner hanging on my wall it will be great the first time I take the A2E out on the trail. If you get the repos made and I get a little extra cash I would be interested in one. My paypal is cuda11@verizon.net PM me with your address and I’ll get it out early this week.- March 12, 2011 at 11:01 pm

Oh for some reason I thought you got it and built it for your uncle. No hard feelings, free market economy, that’s the beauty of ebay. I wouldn’t have paid $180 plus shipping so If I remembered to bid it would have just cost you more anyway so it’s better that I didnt. looking forward to seeing pictures. If you ever decide to get rid of it keep me in mind, I’d love to build a small cuda for my daughter.- March 12, 2011 at 3:03 am

Thanks Don and Mark, Like you said my next pan was to swing by my LBS and see if they could measure. to be honest, since the A2E showed up yesterday my focus seems to have shifted toward thta so the schwinn is put back together exepct for the seat, post and the drive side LX crank is missing, I threw on my xt from my defunct A2M to take it for a quick ride so I’ll probaby hang that up for now and throw the cuda on the workstand. Thanks for all the help, Once I get a seat and post I’ll throw up a picutre.- March 5, 2011 at 3:49 pm

96 A2E and 86 Schwinn Sierra. Any thoughts?- March 5, 2011 at 3:31 am

I recieved the A2E frame from Will today, I was expecting the seatpost to be 26.4 which I figured would be good because I could make sure the sierra was the same size before buying one for that bike. Well the A2E seatpost was 26.0 so I tried to slide it into the sierra but it wouldn’t fit so It must be smaller than 26.0. Any other ideas what size it could be?- March 1, 2011 at 2:28 am

Payment sent vial paypal. Looking forward to building it up but want to see it in person before I make any final decisions as too what I’ll use.I’ve been searching for something like that for years. I’ll gladly email out the decal scans if anyone is willing to have the printing done, and I know I’d buy one.
