I think somebody fell out of the crib and hit their head as a baby…Don’t get me wrong,I love my old girl…..but OLD is the key word here. For that money you could get a modern set up ride with disc brakes and long travel. Have to say with the crack in my frame it would be a perfect replacement frame…but I feel like waiting for a first generation Tree Amegos comp to show up…Hint Hint anybody knows of one in size 14…- March 2, 2012 at 4:25 pm

Heck, some of the guys on here have more than one….and ride them all. A well loved bike is rode ….Enjoy. And truth be told…they are fun bikes to ride and on the vintage side…but not worth being put in a glass case. You can buy them for a few hundred here and there…so do not worry about show casing the bike and RIDE!!!- February 27, 2012 at 2:18 pm

Yes you are missing a part to the seat post. It would be the part that sets the angle on top of the post plus the seat rides on that and the part you have holds the seat in place. Amp fork hey! The guy I bought my frame from used those on the frame before I bought it…they are very light, but I like the look of a more traditional fork. Keep build pictures coming, will enjoy it when we get to see the end.- February 14, 2012 at 2:11 pm

GOD….If that was a 14 it sure would be a nice replacement for my cracked Comp…plus some nice parts for back up or my sons bike…he would love those forks. Thanks Mix….I was thinking about that very thing to do…and if it does not work, guess I will be on the hunt for a new frame…then again I might just pick one up because..who knows- January 3, 2012 at 2:25 pm

Sorry Mark about the Turkey day line…not sure if that upset you…did not mean it that way,as said the other site most of us say Happy what ever holiday…and talk about doing a group dive or what ever.- December 12, 2011 at 5:57 pm

I check a few times out of the day,but with nothing said and not much going on in my world right now(wife and I have split apart…she has computer,so now I can only get on with one at work at this time) I just sign off. I have been thinking about how quiet it is and yes with only a few that will write in it will go through slow times. Could a board be set up for posting pics and videos of sites that members have done on rides…I for one would love to see the places you guys ride being a Florida boy that knows no other state and what it is like. That might cause some of the quiet members to take a peek and get active on the site.- November 27, 2011 at 7:46 pm

Not a bad looking ride Neo….I still have dreams of building a BMX ride someday but family already claims to many rides I have. Sorry but I have no clue about the frame or team…but as I scrolled over team pic the date showed….yep….a decade after I was done with BMX and looking at thirty coming my way. Had played with road bikes and close to jumping onto MTB. Hope your daughter enjoys the ride….- November 8, 2011 at 3:56 am
