Guess I am lucky, all I need do is pull my contacts out then I can pretend all around me is pretty……Well…maybe not the muffin top girl, that blur would be so BIG I would just know something was wrong.

Sounds like my little girl…she will hug and kiss me…then punch me and run out to play with bugs. I joke about giving her pink boxing gloves and say I fear for the poor boy that likes her. But I shall stop now because I think we highjacked this post on a fine looking Cuda frame…but it does show how enjoyable it is to be able to ride with your own kids which is what the post was about…

Now that is cool! Most kids her age would have HELLO KITTY stuff or Pokie Mon garbage ….so maybe ten years down the road we will be reading about her in a Mtb magizine…

I would be proud to be your twin in Florida…but I think it is more so the fact that the folks on this site are good people that for most part feel the same. It is my go to forum which I check on a number of times during the day to see what has been add. My son and I took the wife and daughter to a small nature trail we know of so they could get some riding time in with us…the little girl ran untill she was falling over and still wanted to keep going, but we knew she had enough. she started riding years behind from when my son did…but I think she will be pushing him very soon.

Heck you might as well keep the thing for rides around the neighborhood and when you can pick up a good hardtail for a go fast lite ride…Safe bet you will not bump into another one of those riding around…

That is cool!!! My son started riding early so he has been on a 24″ wheeled bike for a few years now ..A old Iron Horse I picked up which I set up with Shimano Xt 8 spd put my old Kore stem with my old Race Face lite flat bars and Thomson seat post. But just last month I won a Trek 3700 size 13 frame that I have been working on for his next ride…It is a entry level frame but I have been sticking up grade parts on . My Daughter just made the move to riding with the family so now all of us will be going out on runs…My old riding buddies laugh at me for not riding hard anymore but I do not care…..I have fun with MY kids doing one of the things that I have loved so dearly from the time I was their age…who really cares about being able to drop people on a ride when you can see your own kids smile and laugh in the same fun you are having. I hope you enjoy the rides with your daughter the same way…it is a Great feeling

Great plan on saving the link….maybe if they have the parts for my old forks they could be rebuilt to use again.

In its day the Sweetspot which became the S series was their Xc full suspension race bike. I still have mine though It has been set up for my wife to ride, she did not like the little hard seat as she called it or the heavy rack to the handlebars so a big soft seat was put on and a tall riser stem. But the thing rides great and locks out when out of the saddle as they claim . I have the older model which became a carbon frame in the later years. Side note..they used it on a cop show called Pacific Blue but after the first year lost out to the Trek Y fs.

Hey Willie! ……Wow…sorry, flash backs from that old Tv show Alf. Anyway about the forks, the Sids on my Cuda adjust from 63mm travel to 80mm…and have disc brake mounts. On my other bikes I have Manitou forks which run 80mm travel and disc tabs..my fork is set for 80mm and it is a little twitchy but not to bad,one day I might drop the travel to see what it is like.
