Yea Neo’s forks look good and he has wrote about how well they work,I like the look of the older Zokes with the brake arch that looks like a M…elegant and bad ass at same time…I put Sid’s on my bike because I am a weight weenie not because I think they look good or great forks..I know one sad unit I am.

With that set up you need to paint your helmet like the flag and crank up Steppenwolf on the mp3

Do you know the travel on them already….Cuda’s were set to run with a 63mm travel fork…I run 80mm on mine and it works ok but with less travel it would handle as the builders had plan. Mark wrote once that with longer travel forks riding with no hands the bike will be squirrely and mine is just a touch like that with no hands so I would not go anymore than 80…some forks you can change the travel which mine do and mybe one day I will drop it to the 63mm setting.

Bought my Fs bike with them on it…hey they were the fad thing to have on a off road bike. Never used them, seen no need for them and when I bought the parts to build the Cuda I did not see a need for them..

    Let the fireworks begin….
No I should not say that because this site has proved to me to display a bit of class….I have not been here real long but I have read between the lines and came up with…shall I say …A lack of true communication that needs no more replys.
I would say let the Mods know what they know and those of us that came later enjoy the quality of this fine site.
BUT that is just how I feel about it.

Lotus was American design Japanese built to go against the Italian bikes…the work on this thing is sweet to look at but at the times folks did not want Jap bikes…which is funny because the asian market builds most bikes from high end to low. I have rode new carbon framed rode bikes and can not tell the difference from my old Tange 2 steel Lotus….the only thing I like about new road bikes is the brake/shifter set ups.

87 Lotus 600 all original (have the seat but it is messed up) in somewhat nice shape, few lite scratches. And yes I know it looks pink..Lotus like to use odd colors the paint color they called coral and in different light it will show in different tones. This thing rides so much nicer than my 91 Cannodale which feels like it will brake bones before end of ride so even with the paint job this is my go to road bike.

Cool looking bike, does the forks and larger wheel on the front distort how the bike handled with the 26″ wheel or feel about the same….I have asked before what you guys thought of the 29ers….guess you like the feel of a larger hoop…will no doubt be my next build if and when I have the money for it…again love the bike,a straight to the point ride..I like that.

OK…..You know I love it when the kids get a cool ride and the fact that this frame has history to it….BUT I have to ask…HOW small a guy was this Eric Sakadinsky…did he race this frame..I mean I am a small guy and I ride a size 14 he must have been a runt or used it as a pit bike. Have you been able to track full history of the bike,I think that would be cool to know what he did with it. Would it be possible to get in touch with the guy to ask stuff or would that be wrong to do,is he still around even???
