Wow…not sure if it is just me but you look different in this picture…how much time between the build pic’s and this one?
Most of my pic’s on Fb have me in divegear…and on the Fb part of this site I have post things so you could see me there easy from my profile pic.- November 19, 2012 at 9:56 pm

I am with you on vacation away from people…and I like to be in the woods on the bike but I am truly nuts…Vacation to me is humping 100+ pounds of gear wraped up in a zip lock bag suit being cold and wet all the time and picking up hours of water time…- November 19, 2012 at 2:34 pm

Hahah…..Don has corrupt another one with his gems. I have gone in the direction of single speed and had hope with the pile of used and junk parts I could build a Ghetto bike (term picked up from checking out single speed stuff) but fell short of a seatpost that would fit that frame, and the chain I though I would use will be a no go which sucks…..I laugh telling family that I am to poor to even build a ghetto bike. So the parts just sit there with hope that income tax money will trickle a couple of bucks to it…Maybe I will pop some parts on and take a pic to show the bike I call Ultra Ghetto…The frame is a Specilized Hard Rock ultra- November 16, 2012 at 4:53 pm

- in reply to: Disc brakes??
Yes,WillyWill had them on his Cuda at first then drop the disk set up. He had long travel forks on his bike at first which threw the handling off because Cuda’s where set up to run lower travel…If you like the thought of disc just buy slightly older forks with disc tabs on them. Like my Sid’s have the tabs and with those forks I run 80mm travel but I can lower that travel to 63 mm if I remember right that was the travel Cuda’s used…you can get older Zokes or Manitou forks with the tabs and 80mm travel. For the rear there are a few add on tabs..Will used one that believe it or not is made by A2M and you cam find those on line.
But if I were you I would leave the Cuda as a more vintage ride and pick up a frame made for disc and do a more modern build on that bike…you just finished that bike to only tear it apart and more money spent to do a piece together bike…I don’t know just my thought but it is your bike…what ever you want just think long and hard about plus and minus as to what you will get out of it..I know my Cuda is a sub 20 pound bike that climbs like a cat being chased by a pitbull.- November 14, 2012 at 4:57 am

As a kid making a rat bike out of the old muscle bike frames who ever had the most Ashtabula parts on their bike was the cool one…must say I had the cranks and stem but never got my hands on the forks. O… and the old square mx style handlebars with the square number plate with holes drilled in it…would find the foam from ac units to put on the bars…memeories of easyer times with the bikes. Then one kid showed up with a Webco and that was the beginning of it all and had to have a real BMX stlye bike..- November 8, 2012 at 6:06 pm

I bet those of us on the older side started riding that type of bike but when we got closer to being a teen those bikes became rat bikes..would yank all parts that had no value to the cool look find a ten speed seat put that on find early bmx parts to finish off the build.- November 8, 2012 at 5:36 pm

Yea I checked it out….you said you did that with your phone, bet that was fun. I did one with my contour and need to see if I can post it,but I might add to it with some shots of me by hanging it along the path as I ride by and adding in where needed. All new to me playing with the thing so not sure yet.
Anyways BIG MAN glad you got a ride in and post the video, and with the tires I run semi slicks which on the limestone in most of the old overgrown quarries that we have here they hook up great plus when I ride around home they are fast as well but if you ride on wet loose stuff you might not like them because they would be all over the place and put your backside on the ground.- November 6, 2012 at 2:53 am

The vintage sideburns add to the look indeed…Must say I kinda got a laugh the first look at his setup and thought the same thing about his height, but seeing that I could I no doubt run around his leg like a toddler I will keep my mouth shut.
By the way that was not laughing like you were a clown it was more of O MY GOD how big is this guy!!!
Then again we should have known with the call sign Pee Wee..Guys named Tiny or Pee Wee most of the time are big men.
I bet this is how it would look with me standing next to Pee 30 Wee and I would be saying the Stem the Stem….- November 4, 2012 at 2:03 pm
