    Man I wish I could say that about buying a nice Cuda then adding a Thomson. But yea I understand about the pricing on Thomson parts..new or used the price does not change much which if you are selling that is a good thing. The Thomson I put on the S-30 had to be cut down and even more with my wife riding that bike, so now for me to ever use the thing it would have to be on a road bike….pretty much means a waste of a Thomson with me now…Road Bikes..BORING

    Sorry to hear but I am sure another one will show up and it will no doubt make you far more happy…at least that is the way I like to feel about things when I miss out on something. And when one shows up I hope you post it or the work you are doing to it if need be…GOOD LUCK !

    I know I have said it a few times but it is so true…Thomson seat post, there is no other! Ha..I have a Dale seat on my cheap single speed bike, forget who really makes that thing have seen them with other names on them as well but yours is the same as mine with the coda on the nose. Sweet bike made even more so with that post on her now, icing on the cake would be a Thomson stem as well…and now they have a seat post clamp…MERCY!

    T thinks he is so FUNNY !
    Thumbing through the bikes trying to make up his mind as to which one to take out…kind of like Jay Leno flipping through keys making up his mind which Hot Rod to take out on a Friday night cruise.
    How is the muscle bike deal going….DID YOU GET IT ???
    I know this is a forum for Cuda bikes, but some of us like bikes period…right D. and it looks like you took that thread off and I was waiting to see what became of the bike…

    I was joking but yea sounds like the wise choice…anyways a few years down the road you can start your own place set up for bike riders with a all natural menu .

    Heck I would ride it with a grin…but then again me saying that does not mean much if you have seen pictures of one of my road bikes…it looks PINK!

    Be glad D, a nasty looking leg that IS healing and loss of vacation time and funds is far better than if the infection forced them to remove part of or the whole leg.
    Glad to hear from you by the way and happy things are going well but must say when the forum starts rolling again with the crazy lines from Derek and you, THAT is when I will feel at true peace again.

    I believe mine is set up as a 73 mm but could be wrong being that my Race Face BB can do both …Out of the BB’s I have the UN 72 came out of the Cuda and it is a 73 mm ….if memory is right

    I wish he was saying that Derek! When he was younger riding his 24″ wheel mtb he would ride 18 miles with me and have a smile, now that he runs around with the neighbor hood kids on their want to be street bmx bikes he cries about riding with me and sand bags the ride. When I was his age there was no way I would let a old man out run me and for sure a broken down washed up rider like me…..I keep telling him that if I were to pick up another frame I KNOW where I can get parts from….But I know part of that line is from the fact that I feel I lost my little riding buddy đŸ˜„

    That is for sure!
    Last weekend was a bit of a mess and my Son and I made a run on the Pinellas trail which is one of the old railroad tracks changed to a path now. We figure the same for this weekend as well, heck even for my diving it is a mess because a number of the caves the flow has turn and rivers are way up, plan on going to one of the deep caves in hope of clear water and one that opens into the gulf right off the shore line. The rain drives me nuts but I know we need it bad to help bring the water table back up….Hope you get a bit of sun shine and a dry enough path to ride even if it is like my son and I on pavement…
