The bike is but after kids I lost my legs, heart and lungs so I can no longer push her in the woods like I did years back but will never get rid of my baby. She is a sub 20 pound bike and I bet with some of the new technology I could drop more weight.- August 2, 2013 at 1:57 pm

Just a quick sidenote on cable run, then back to the main attraction. Couple of shots on my setup and as said I think you might find it to be a clean job !- August 1, 2013 at 12:46 pm

You created a bike monster, but be glad she told you her intent about the jersey in a nice way….My Son made the comment ” WHEN YOU DIE, I GET YOUR BIKES ” ….not sure if I should feel proud or wigged out !- August 1, 2013 at 2:26 am

Errrr…I tried to get a good shot of how my cables are run thinking you might like it….but my home camera SUCKS..spoiled with the equipment at work ,guess I need to take the Cuda in to take the pic.- July 31, 2013 at 8:48 pm

So she learns on the Cuda and when she is tall enough for the other bike the Cuda can be made into a bad ass single speed for the rides when you take yours out for a spin…there should be a small window when both bikes could be rode.- July 31, 2013 at 5:06 pm

That is great that you are back riding and having a good time BUT I am suprised the little one is still on the Cuda and not the new vintage ride you pick up for her…still working on that one I take? As far as the Jersey goes, Hergules did a post about the different colors and the era that they went with I believe. Maybe he will pop on board sometime soon and give the answer…in the mean time ENJOY your rides !- July 31, 2013 at 1:58 pm

Nice to hear from you D and hope all is well ! You are so lucky, my wife has a far more open mind than I do and listen to ALL type of music. That has lead my kids into corruption of what they listen to,so yes my daughter listens to beaver and swoons over him and both her and my son listen to dance and rap crap THOUGH my son still likes some of my stuff like Queensryche,Rush and Aerosmith and a few other, BUT I do miss the days of driving with my kids, cranking early Black Sabbath and them bobbing their heads like good little Heavy Metal head bangers…not that they ever cared for my heavy stuff but it was fun to watch them cranking to the sound of Ozzy !- July 30, 2013 at 7:11 pm

I’ve been here Mark, multiple times through out the day I check the board..in part I work on a computer plus YES I HAVE NO LIFE. You sure have been giving the forum a workout in the past week or so with post that deal with historical value, therefore I keep quiet, read and learn.- July 27, 2013 at 3:54 am

Was waiting for the reply in hope you would say your height and inseam being that I ride a 14 as well. We are the exact same plus you gave me the answer I have wonder about for sometime now. When I built my Cuda the owner of the bike shop told me not to use more than a 110 mm stem and to tell the truth I have always felt it would be nice just to have a little bit more room. Love my Race Face stem but when I built the thing I wanted a Thomson to match up with the post but they still had not hit the market yet even though they were shown in the mags. So thanks Mix for the insight and when I sell one of the kids…ooops I mean ever come into money I owe a fellow bike lover some funds then a Thomson I will go!I agree Mark, I’am so glad my frame crack at the seatpost and not the head tube but no need for a binder as my frame already has it. My frame is second generation ( wish I had a Durango frame but still love her ) Comp made from the Easton tubes with a seatpost binder.- July 19, 2013 at 2:56 pm

That was my point..use seat binder hardware. Just typing in seat binder bolt on ebay this came up with many more..the price on this one is 5.04 with free shipping. Would not surprise me to find it at a bike shop for less.- July 18, 2013 at 7:44 pm

Cheap bikes use a simple bolt and nut, go to a bike shop or online and get a seat binder bolt..they really do not cost that much and you will be far more happy with the clean look. That being a part that has no need to be vintage I would hit up the bike shop first, more than likely they would want more on line .
