Never to late to start ! Enjoy your new adventure into riding off road and remember there are skills that must be learn, so don’t get upset if you see or read about ” X ” doing something you have a hard time with…that is part of the adventure and something you will look back on, smile and laugh about. Learn all you can about working on your own bike, ask questions if need be…no harm in that. Shame to see folks go into a shop for simple things but still support your local favorite shop because there will come a time that you need them. Have Fun now and go RIDE !!

HEY, I had one of those as a little kid ! Use to ride it around the family property in the woods and thru trails to other folks property that we knew….that was a Christmas gift to me that my Dad and brother had fun with.

Wow, old school Honda ! From the pic’s it looks to be in good shape which should give you somewhat of a easy time restoring her. Course you are the motorcycle guy, how much you figure will be involved with this project ? Bad as “D” and myself, we both have bicycle projects we have been dealing with and you have been working on the RZ350
and now this one….figure it will go to the back burner till you get time or work both as parts and time come along ?

Hey Mix, has this crazy monsoon weather been hitting you ? We have had three weeks of solid rain with flooding. My buddy and I did a ride this morning in a lighting storm with heavy rain…stupid move, but we were tired of being stuck at home !

Love motorcycles Super D, but in Florida there is a very good chance of becoming a hood ornament and the lucky ones become road kill right off.

Yes I have, but I have done the opposite of you by leaving the Cuda for the old Single Speed. Plus I have been going to local bike show / swap meets working on that Prewar Colson I bought from Neo, and I was giving a 85 Mongoose Californian bmx bike which I should part out yet part of me would like to keep and build ( as if I don’t have enough bikes that hardly get rode ) to keep for awhile. The bike show there was a guy on a Cook Bros. bmx that made me drool and think of the good old days, but I should sell the good parts and use money for a replacement FS build due to last one having a crack frame or a DJ frame set up more toward AM…

Neo and I post different things to see what would work, nothing caught on strong enough to get new folks posting. Shame because there is good information here along with good people to hear from and pick up new tricks on bike builds. I check in every day with hope things blow up with posting and will keep doing so.

That must be very nice to be able to start the ride from your own house. To me the worse part is loading and unloading, gas and time spent…it all takes longer than the ride in some cases here in Florida.

And I hate to say, but I feel no man can pump life life back into site.

Understand that, bikes are great and you can do a lot with them….but somethings are better done with a person
