So I ended up buying this as the last piece for my A2L and the seller informs me yesterday that it is a purple seatpost. I declined the purchase as I really needed the red.I can’t recall seeing any anodized purple posts…is this common and from the factory or was it done after-market?
Also if anyone needs a purple seatpost they should reach out to the seller.

All this bashing on your KORE stem I am tempted to replace mine with this Nuke Proof on EBAY- Around $50 with shipping almost cost more than the bike itself.- October 16, 2013 at 5:25 pm

Thanks Neo…I was thinking of buying the below but am a bit confused as he has it listed as a 31.6 but states it fits a 27.3. I believe this is a relisting and he changed the size in the title from 27.3 to 31.6…Did barracuda make 31.6 seatposts and if not do you think it is safe to buy this and get it to fit with a shim?Sorry about all the questions.

I live in NYC and take the Citi Bike to work. he is absolutely right there are some parts on my way home that the bike lane and the turn lane into the Mid-Town Tunnel (from 2nd Avenue) share. It is a death trap to stay in the bike lane and everyone crosses over and rides on the other side in the bus lane. Also there are only a few avenues that have dedicated bike lanes so it is kinda BS to get tickets if you can ride freely in all the other avenues that don’t have bike lanes.
I can go on all day regarding this…did you know that NYPD are unable to chase motorcyclists.

Yep that was me…thought I had my max bid at around $25 so I was surprised to get it for around $10. I am pretty excited as I needed a stem in that size. All I need is a seat post now…would you know what size seatpost is your A2L? I can’t find any info out there on this.
Thanks

i love your A2L…trust me i studied it while putting my build together (down to the travel agent). I think your rims are awesome just they can really blow up your budget. I spend $150 on some my Rims (from REI) and I am not that happy with them.Regarding the stem ty but I am going after the red one expiring on ebay in a few hours. It is a perfect fit on my A2L being red and I also need a small stem (1″) as that is all the clearance I have now with my cheapie Manitou Spyder fork.

Well I ended up picking up the WB for $125…hopefully will have it by the weekend and get get it on the trails. One question on the 9″ stem length…I was thinking of shaving off around .5″ (this just sounds wrong) as my tube is 7.5″ and I didn’t want 1.5″ of spacers. In you opinon should I leave the stem at 9″ assuming it doesn’t feel too high and would 1.5″ of spacers be ok to ride?
Thanks
