I took the new A2E out around Central Park in NYC. Actually the GF ended up riding it and I rode her Trek 820 (WSD)…thats right I spend all this money on builds and I end up riding a chick’s bike around the city….go figure.

BTW the bike rode great but I have some ghost shifting in one gear in the middle chain ring I need to figure out and fix.

well here she is…I am just waiting on some lizard skin hand grips and it is done. That being said it hasn’t been riden yet and I have no clue if it will fall apart on the first hit.

that is such a cool bike and that name is awesome.

I saw those rims doing my search. I decided to go a little new school on the rims and just pulled the trigger on some ceramin cross max. I think they come in under 1600g and I really wanted a black and white rim to go woth this frame.

those were the ones. I am glad i asked as I am, close to 200 lbs (i like t say pure muscle to those that never saw me).

Part of me is relieved as no I don’t have to spend $300 – 400 on those.

The more I spec out this bike the more interested I am in the Klein that started this thread. The xtr brakes alone are going to run me close to $100

BTW their is a spooky junebug frame on EBAY ending soon…seems a tad pricey though and a beautiful spot frame.

I just picked it up and am pretty excited to build this one up. I am thinking of putting a 9 speed xtr drivetrain on her and possibly some spinergy wheels.

thanks again. I think that schwinn has been posted for a bit.

Now I am thinking of getting the below spooky frame. About time I brought some east coast love to my stable. Something about this brand is calling my name.

Being that I am still a newb I am going to defer to the auction description:

For auction is this used and vintage Rock Shox Judy DH 3″ travel shock – it’s for 26″ wheels frames, and has a thread less 1 1/8″ steer tube, so will work for almost any early 1990’s and later frames. This one also has the rare and sought-after White Brothers “Judd” spring upgrade – internal spring replacement. Has string and rebound adjustments.

I have to see how the White Brothers looks in the moron A2E cause the Red Judy looks real nice. Being that this build is for the girlfriend to ride in your opinion will there be a difference between the two?

very cool Neo…I have been keeping an eye out for a SID but it seems like the market value is around $125-$175 for a fully functional one. I would be curious of your thoughts if the SID vs. the White Brothers (which I have two of now).

    Thanks
