I should also add, the little (unfixable) annoyances with the board have prompted me to update to the latest version of PHPbb. The styles have reset and it’ll be a little while until I’m able to catch up and bring them current. It’s on the to-do list however! ;)

Please let me know if you have problems with smileys, attachments, etc.

I should go out and check the garage! That, or there are dozens of Mark “tribute” bikes out there.. lol

Did this get bought? If not, I’ll snatch up the package for the repository o’ swag.

I’ve been meaning to look into this too. There are fellas on MTBR and RetroBike who do it, but when you find out, post up here so we can all benefit. :)

Nice! Was wondering who might scoop this one up.

Everyone will offer their 2 cents and here is my own: The bike will need enough work to warrant a re-spray, so if it were me, I’d tear it all down and do it up right, with a new paint job and decals. You’ll love it even more because of that.

Someone will get this for $300 and as long as it’s free of cracks (it’s steel – likely is), it’s a good deal at that, even for historic value. Not many of these originals around anymore.

That’s pretty good for MS Paint!

Did you use decals of your own as templates?

Still up there, despite the author’s claims at needing a quick sale..

Just ran across this post and all I can say is WOW. Love this restoration. Everyone, including me would do it somewhat differently, but you’ve done really well. I’d be tossing big offers your way if it were a 17, 18 or 19. And though I also cringe at the thought of your 10 year old laying it down on pavement and scuffing up the hardware, I can’t say I’m much different. My 10 year old rides a pristine 1993 A2T all tricked out with a Mani 3 nicer than the one on my own bike.. ;)
