Slack chain probably some crud in the jockeys or something. I had just cleaned it for the photos so may have missed a bit.

Regarding the forks, that is the twist you see. I am not the original owner but I bought it from them. They told me that the stock forks on the A2MS were so poor that he asked if the dealer could supply it with rigids. So these are the proper Barracuda forks that would have been spec’d on an A2M. I kept my eye out for a nice set of Manitou’s to go with it but never found any in good enough condition.

I do have that set of RS Mag’s in a light metallic blue with pump that I would be willing to discuss adding to the parcel though.

Thanks for the welcome, yes it was the one on retrobike, cost just under £130 to be fully rideable.

And as a top score I have just been given for free a set of Rock Shox Mag 21 forks in a kind of blue colour which I will put aside for him to use once his riding skills are improved. Ideally a set of Manitous would be nice but all the ones I’ve seen lately would b3 around £100 with new elastomers or a spring kit so I’ll make do with the Mag’s.

I may even paint them white and get some custom decals made in blue and pink down the line
