Ah – I don’t usually watch the video, just read the story. Went back and tried, yeah the commercial worked and the video ‘couldn’t be found.’

Your backyard looks a bit bumpy there Derek, I think you should remove the trees, grade the land so it is nice and flat and lay down some sod…..Hope you had a good ride there!

I dug up half of my front lawn this summer and planted a garden. I’m thinking a clandestine mota grow in the mountains instead.

It’s a brand new specialized 8 spd rear wheel with a Shimano cassette, the chain was new when I built the bike, shifters are the ones you sent me, maybe its time for a new derailleur.

Why would it not have a serial #, thinking it maybe a super early one? And without dismantling the headset and by just eyeballing it I’d bet a dollar to to your donut that it’s NOT 1-1/8″, hence the confusion. The shocks are toast. I was curious about this bike when it was made etc. I screwed up and gushed about it to the owner of the shop and now I am afraid to ask about the price.

I still have the silver/black A2R that I poached the parts from for the A2MS, it still needs a bottom bracket.

Not sure about going single speed, or rigid…. Lotta hills in them thar hills. Something to think about though.

Not ruling out a build of some sort this winter though.

    Sharp eye. Good job kid.

I lost a Trek a couple of years ago, I was in a convenience store, on the OTHER SIDE of the glass and watched it happen. Just as well he was a little faster than me – I’d be in prison. Jerks.

Oh yeah, I saw that a few days ago. Skinny tires make me nervous. My commuter slicks are Kenda 2.0″. That’s some skill though.

Living in Utah and being from Texas….. there are many variations. We call them Grasshoppers (the green ones that eat your crops) the black ones that chirp are crickets, but the Mormons have their own definition.

We had a chili cook-off and the gag prize was the blow-up doll. And we had some left over baked potatoes. And there was some alcohol involved. The old lady’s scoot was parked on the back porch.

That was some party. The old lady was a little pissed about the baked potato smeared on her Vespa seat though. Still can’t find that roll of electrical tape though.

The answer once again is yes…… 19 miles of urban assault to and from work each way each day…… You guys know I ride a New Zealand built Avanti Ridge Rider (supposed to be my commuter) but my knobbie A2MS is my choice. As a matter of fact – The Avanti has sat in the trunk of my ’74 Lincoln for the last 3 weeks.

    Mine is the red one.
