Neo, I have to hand it too you, if you don’t include the shipping cost you were only $1 away from guessing the winning bid. Not Bad!

Even though it’s just an envelope it’s pretty cool, probably pretty rare.

    I’m hoping it’s at least an 18.

I emailed him, it would make a nice replacement for my A2M frame. I asked for the size and he said 20 to 24 so I just asked for some measurements of the seat tub and top tube and if he knew what year it was.

Ha, I’m with you on the humidity! I would get rid of that and the Jersey Shore crew, they’re making a mess of it.

I’m about 5 minutes from the bay and a 10 minute boat ride accross to the ocean or a 15 to 20 minute drive to the ocean. about an hour and a half from skiing and some decent riding close by. Everything mentioned is a bit smaller than the ones Neo has but still nice.

Yeah, I see them on ebay too and always consider it but I would prefer to have a colorado built bike the after breaking the aluminum I’d probalby go with a steel if possible, I would like a higher end model with a nice tubeset. Irode my A2M for 12 years until it cracked this summer (see member bikes). It was a 98 aluminum 18 inch and was great but could have been one size bigger, given the year it was built, it was a NY built bike but it rode nice, I loved it. after I stripped it down it weighed 4 pounds and change. I was so bummed when it broke. I sold off the barracuda seat that I loved and my Nuke proof carbon hub wheelset from the bike to raise money for a new frame. I’d appreciate it if you keep your eye out.

Also, I think everyone here would love to see some pictures of the different bikes that you’ve “rescued” LOL

I’m horrible at picking prices but I’d say $275. It needs a new front shock but other than that looks in decent shape and it’s a comp. If it was a 19 or so I’d pick it up.

Manbeer If you have any rescues around a 19 inch that you want to find a good home let me know! My a2m cracked over the summer so my cuda is stripped down and going to become wall art in my garage.

Well said Neo, it is an auction and if someone wants it they should be able to bid according to how much they are willing to spend. I actually bid on the XX team that I think manbeer won about a moth ago and I was pissed that I didn’t get it but had no ill feelings toward the winner (other than severe Jealousy) LOL.

Don, part of that story is me but I don’t own the frame. My 98 A2M frame cracked at the head tube and I sold the embroidered seat and the wheels to raise some money to get a new bike. I would like a 19 or 20 inch Cuda frame in nice shape so it might take a while to find. I ended up selling the seat to one of our fellow cuda fanatics here on the site but wouldn’t feel right about saying who just in case for some reason they don’t me too.

I’ve seen this frame on Ebay a while back then it was off for a while then it popped up again recently. the only time I remember seeing it here is the first time someone posted it in the marketplace section.

Great to hear it. As fun as it is to build (or rebuild) these things riding them is what it’s all about.

Ha, Awsome pics, that is some Kooka package!

I agree about Tomac. Here’s one for you, he was a little older than in your pics. I was in college, my buddies went to a race, I got sick as a dog that weekend so I couldn’t go, they walked up and snapped this picture of Johnny T in his skin suit spinning his Raliegh on rollers. Later that day they talked to him said he was really cool.

The other pic is a female yeti rider coming off the start, I know you know who it is because of the dried piranah necklace.
