I have the full xt 8spd drivetrian with shifter/levers and it worked flawless until the day I removed it when my frame cracked. I agree, good stuff

Ha, you guys crack me up. No Mix, I it went right on. I think they just use smaller spacing between the rings. After riding my cuda for years with 8 then getting the stump jumper with 9 I noticed a difference on the climbs so I don’t want to go back to 8. I don’t enjoy uphills at all so the 9 speed 11-34 cassette is much nicer.

I’ve never been to one either Mix but I’m looking forward to it. Unfortuneatley I wont have my cuda with me, the A2E is still under construction as you can see in the restoration forum. since those pics I did add a 9spd HG50 Cassette and a chain, still need a seat, front disc brake and some cables to hook up those deraileurs. I’ll be bringing the 08 stumpjumper that I picked up when my A2M cracked. Will have my tool box with the cuda frame decal on it though!

Thanks Corey, that’s actually the route I took. 2×10 was too pricey for me so I went 3X9. check it out in the update in the restoratio projects.

OK, it’s still not done but moving along. I am still deciding to use my fully xt 3X8 set up from my deceased A2M or go with the 3×9 stuff that I’m putting on there now. As you can see I got wheels, shifters, der and a bunch of green ano goodies.

Yeah, I havent been checking as frequent now that the weather is breaking, Once that happens and yard work gets added to every thing else it chews up time quick. I’ve been riding at least once a week lately which is nice. I picked up an 08 stump jumper FS so I’m getting used to that for an upcoming trip to killington VT, should be good, last sever trips there were on my hard tail cuda. I also found a small lake close to my house that has huge bass in it so I’ve been sneaking over there when I can. the A2E is coming along, I’ll post some updated pictures soon, just a few more parts and it will be ready to ride.
