Maybe we could expand it to include Barracuda and something else?

    Barracuda and Frozen?

    Barracuda and onedirection?

    Barracuda and Golf?

    Barracuda and VWs??

I’ll get it built by the end of the summer! I have an American Comp Lite to build too. No more kids just 2 but I have moved house and been working had to renovate it. Trails out of my door! (Quite tame but still loving being able to MTB without needing a car/bike rack etc etc

Dont think I am the man to pump life back into the forum! But I will get the bike built…

    Awesome, great job.

    MUST GET MINE BUILT!

    Hey ctk-

Thanks for posting, it’s been a long time my good man!

So what of it? What’s the status of your ‘Cuda? Please don’t tell me you had 5 more adorable children (if so, congrats brother!) and the ‘Cuda is in permanent limbo!

C’mon man, give us an update, we could use some “old blood” to pump some life back into this forum!

Always a pleasure and best regards,

Gulp- some good stuff there. NOS Onza ti would look great on the 94 a2x.

Look at the weave on the hubs!

Pre digital too. I’m having misty eyed nostalgic thoughts about film photography. Its not just the camera its the post photo editing- everything is so perfect now!

yeah I wouldn’t be too worried as long as your seatpost is in a reasonable distance.

they were On-One Midges. I liked them super comfy- really upright- on the tops and fun decending etc in the drops. I’d like them more if they extended bacwards a couple more inches.

I am going for a modern salsa (flat & wide) bar on this build with loads of sweep.

Yep that is bad news. I had a repair done on a cracked Klein seattube with a bit of weld- and its held out fine.

So here we go… Frame forks and stem…

I’m thinking a black headset? It’ll be a mix of black and polished alloy on the bike anyway.

    MMMmmmmMB-1. Lovely build.

Bridgestone were a brilliant bike company weren’t they?. So unconventional with moustache bars etc. I wonder what they’d be building now? Their advertising and graphics were so far away from anyone else and have stood the test of time. Would love to get my hands on one.

Your daughter as a custom bike builder would be coool. I know of one female frame builder (name escapes me) and I think a lot of Lynskeys welders are female too.

:-) great write up, really funny.

& that trailer! its my new dream shed.

I reckon if you take them a slightly bigger trailer you could engineer a swap…

Photos of the kids and the rebuild soon. I am back at stage 1 of the rebuild- I had a Mavic headset on it but it looked lame with the high rise A-Tac so I’m looking for a headset to get things started.
