Been riding her in the salt and mud, and everything started going wacky – squeaky brakes, shifting was thrown off, you name it. SHe was pissed…..It’s a balmy 34 degrees and the inversion (sh!tty air) has cleared up some… soooo…. I bought her some new shoes, did a complete dergrease/regrease, cleaned her up (in the bathtub
) and now I’m gonna go for a ride.Stay tuned for more pics.

No knobs and I do not notice spikes…I bet those things will feel like riding on (I must say it) ICE- February 15, 2013 at 12:33 am
Streets and sidewalks have thawed a bit. Those Kendas are smooth as silk. I still have knobbies on the Avanti for when it snows again….- February 15, 2013 at 2:03 am
That bike gets around more than a Tourist at Walt Disney- February 15, 2013 at 5:19 pm
That’s great Derek, really cool how the bike came together after giving you so much sh*t! I love the pics, thanks for sharing brother! There is a great thread over on Bike Forums, Everyday Pics, your shots would be perfect for that thread! I’d say check it out, plenty of really cool photos from all over the world as shot by or with a bike. It used to be my favorite thread on Bike Forums but now it’s the Dirt Drop thead, I’m building my third “dirt drop” right now, not sure if I’ll ever ride flat bars ever again (probably just a passing fancy). Anyway, here is a link to the pics:http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/755234-Every-Day-Pics
Keep up with the shots of your riding adventures, good stuff my man!
Peace,
