I finally finished putting this one back together. It is a 93 A2R with a 14″ frame. I purchased it on the cheap from Craigslist for $45. Thanks of course to Neo-pop for the tip that it was in my back yard. As I updated my CudaComp with XT, I put the LX groupo on this bike. This is the finished product.

Dang.. The elastomers in my Manitou only lasted 2 years before they fatigued.

I have some spare elasto-donuts that you are welcome to have brother Mix. When I rebuilt my Manitou Comp I used a NOS Post Moderne suspension seatpost replacement spring. It was a perfect fit! To help with adjustability I ran elastomers in the other leg. Here is a link to the spring I bought:

My buddy couldn’t find a Post Moderne replacement spring, so he ran this Avenir with some salvaged elasto-donuts:

I’m sure you can salvage a few elastomers to run opposite the spring and that’ll get your Cuda back on the trail.
