If it was not for the nasty cold air and wind the thought of eating that Sir would have me camping on one of the little islands we go to or hanging out eating at one of the dock side bars….Nice burger or grouper nuggets would be great with that or some smoked AJ….WOW forgot about how nasty it is outside for a moment…….THANKS FOR THE WARM THOUGHTS

Got it and I take no issue as long as you said “shrimps” and not that horrid Southern drawl of “shree’imps”!!! Unless you are from Naw’lins, that grotesque southern sh*t has to go!!! I love to eat it but hate to hear it… keep that bayou wanna be bullsh*t to your hillbilly gatherins!

‘Ol swampy is a cool accent, always sounds good to the ear! It’s like listening to live jazz down on Bourbon Street. Unlike straight up hick or hillbilly, those accents are like a cheese grater to the ears!!!

Don you would have love to hear my Elders then but with me being born here and Florida having the mix of people my accent is a bit bastardized….And Derek, you can do all the arty farty foods and you still jump for mac and cheese…thats cool!- January 2, 2013 at 6:40 pm
Oh, this kind of scratch Mac’N’Cheese?
The generic kind from the 99 Cents store when you’re low on “$cratch” and PBR is livin’ the high life?!!!
Let’s just say that low budget was the punk rock staple, for me and most everyone I hung with… but when you’re all livin’ the same, you don’t take notice or issue. Still some pretty amazing chefs, like me, made some tasty feasts that fed loads of hungry people… punks, young moms with kids, homeless, vets, drug heads, drunks, and all sorts of true characters… we never turned anyone away, all were welcome at the punk rock kitchen!!!
