    Seriously though I’m looking for a fork, equal to or less than $100 shipped. Budget build for a recovering friend so he can get to work. 6 months clean and sober. I have everything else, and I trust y’all more than the idiots on KSL.com or CL or ebay. Figured someone might have an old Manitou or Judy layin around collecting dust. He’s a big guy like me, so a steer tube of 7.5″ or 8″ plus will be needed.

    I picked up a decent old Rock Hopper frame and everything else I have laying around.

    I can paypal or mail you the cash (reference Neo (Don).

    Hey Derek,

    What era Rockhopper are you talking about? The Rockhopper has been around since the 80’s, does the frame have a 1″ or 1 1/8th” head tube? Are you after a threaded or threadless steer tube?

    Shock or rigid? If it will only be used on the road really no reason for a bouncy front end !

    1-1/8 threadless. I plan to take him on a couple of single tracks this summer if he keeps his stuff together – show him how high you can get without travelling to Colorado. :mrgreen:
