Hey manbeer and cudarider-You guys can battle it out for this little gem…
http://hartford.craigslist.org/bik/2170022377.html
Looks really clean, nice little A2R but I can’t see any decals on the seat tube. I’m with Mark, the rigid forks are going to be collectable some day soon. Plus, I was always a fan of the EXAGE line that Shimano put out, the teeth on the crank look to have seen little use. Seems like a good deal, especially if you get it for less (OBO) than the $75 asking price.
Good luck!

I emailed him, it would make a nice replacement for my A2M frame. I asked for the size and he said 20 to 24 so I just asked for some measurements of the seat tub and top tube and if he knew what year it was.- January 25, 2011 at 12:58 am
looks like a 16 to me….its about 20 mins from my house.- January 25, 2011 at 2:39 am
I’m hoping it’s at least an 18.- January 27, 2011 at 3:04 am
I talked to him and it is 16 inches from center of cranks to the top of the seat tube and 22.5 from center of seat tube to center of head tube. I need at least an 18″ but he is flexible on the price and just wants it out of his basement. Can anyone tell what year it is?- January 27, 2011 at 12:14 pm
According to Bikepedia, the only year that the A2R came with Shimano Exage was 1993. It looks like we got an early one on the cheap!1993 A2R
