XXFX Barracuda (Norco style) downhill, freeride bike – $1000 (woonsocket)

    contact: vfvm3-3128539051@sale.craigslist.org

XXFX Barracuda Downhill, freeride bike, monoqoque frame with xtr rear derailleur Hayes hydrualic disk brakes Veulta bomb proof wheelset. and a front fork (Bullet, I think) By Hainbrink’s founder with six inches travel and same travel in rear ( stratos Shock?). This bike cost me over $1800.00 about seven years ago. It was never used as intended. I rode trails in Lincoln Woods and did a few two- three foot drops. It has been sitting in my garage since then. Only about forty miles total on bike. I need to sell due to financial hardship. This bike’s frame was made in the same factory as the Norcos were. I bought it online at Adrenaline bikes. It originally sold at $2400.00

Yes, that is a rare bike but that’s because after Ross bought Barracuda in 1996, they put almost no effort into a race team or any other form of competition. I have to say, that Cuda does look to be a rebadged Norco VPS1.

My buddy raced a VPS1, can you say Sherman Tank? Seriously, I think his weighed 46 pounds with the same Bullet Brothers ZZYZX fork that is pictured on the Cuda.
