Here is a legendary bit of mountain bike history, A 1993 A2R signature. Barracuda was a short lived manufacturer of great American made mountain bikes between 1993 and 1998. This bike is Colorado built and a very light chromoly frame. Lisa Muhich raced for team Barracuda in at least 1992-1994, she also raced for team Specialized. included is frame, fork, headset, bottom bracket, handlebar and stem. The Fork is a rock shox quadra, and the stem and bars are barracuda branded. Thanks for bidding on this awesome vintage mountain bike frame.

That’s a bizarre thing… I’ve never seen anything about “signature models”Mark, The Grand Poobah, needs to put his Cuda fezz on and shed some light on this one!
Mark…

I sold Cudas. No such thing unless she (maybe) signed it…No heringgbone on the spot the colors meet either. Race frame?- July 1, 2012 at 5:21 am
I thought I saw somewhere she raced 14 inch bikes. I own one of the 93 A2R’s and it is missing one of the herringbones. I don’t think the herringbone decals were clearcoated on that year of A2R.
But $225.. 🙄 Please..- July 1, 2012 at 7:51 pm
I might be wrong but when you click the link to the Ebay auction, the signature is the 4th picture, and it’s clearly a sticker. You can see the dirt around the edges of the clear celo sticker, it even has “signature” printed on the sticker.- July 1, 2012 at 11:04 pm
Nice catch, Neo.. Maybe some dealer created their own “Signature Series”.

I believe there were some bikes specced out a certain way, and they’d market them as her signature bike. Likely with a sticker. Wasn’t its own model tho..- July 11, 2012 at 1:22 pm
And to nobody’s surprise, this went unsold. Should I send the seller a note and let him know I got my A2E frame for $10, or would that just be mean?
