I found this on Craigslist Austin today. It looks like an 18 inch. Appears the front derailleur is disabled.

I am selling a barracuda A2R steel mountain bike. These were only made in 1993 and is made from the famed Yeti company. This is a very fun mountain bike with 26″ wheels. There are racing wheels on the bike and the handle grips are a bit different from the picture. They now have lime green OURY’s. If you would like more pictures just email me. There are also front shocks, so this is NOT a rigid mountain bike.

The front derailleur is acting as a stay because I did not use the front derailleur at all. So it is holding the front gears in place. The brakes need adjusting as well. I am selling $200 as is.

It looks like the bike in the top picture is a different bike in the bottom picture. Fishy..

The top picture is the only one I see when I click on the Link MIX, and the ad makes reference to the change and that it is not a rigid bike. But yes I agree with you and from knowing how people have used pictures off this site makes me wonder even more about online sales. You would think if it is the same bike they would have used current pictures and not show the frame with completely different parts

Those are two completly different bikes. Not the same frame size. Why would someone post an add with another bike, than send uppon request pictures with the real one. That is fishy indeed.
