I’ve got a 96 XX Team frame which also has a small crack in the head tube. It’s an interesting frame, because the top tube is MUCH thinner than the others I’ve seen. It’s really noticeable.
The crack doesn’t bother me and I’d actually build it and ride it as-is, but I’m already on a good XX Team frame, so I don’t need it.
Purchased from Europe off ebay about 4 years ago. Asking $150 + shipping. I’m not in a huge rush to sell it and I think the unique top tube makes it a worthy candidate for a fix and preservation.
