    Still have the Barracuda invoice from 5/19/93
    A2X Team Edition 14″ GREEN/WHITE

    Received this frame in May 1993 from Dave Southwell along with a Manitou 1 fork. He gave the shop team I was managing Yeti-built A2X frames at near cost ($525). I’m rebuilding it now with an early XTR group, XTR-nukeproof carbon hubset w/ bombshell front, Ringle Moby seatpost, cage, ti-stix, etc. I just finished rebuilding the Manitou 2 fork you can see in the pic (yes, that’s an AC fork stiffener on the Manitou).

    I’m using many of the same parts that I used in 1993/94 to build and race this frame. Tells you something about the durability of the old stuff.

    Going to be a SWEET ride!

    My frame is sitting in my basement, as it has been since I received it, with a little thought now and then to building it up. I’ve got a small collection of parts but many won’t make this build. I have a period-correct Scott Unishock in white, but unfortunately, the steerer is much too short for my 19″..
