Mornin’ all-I got back from my morning run, I was so pleased with the clear weather, I had to grab the camera and snap a shot. For all the detractors to living in SoCal (traffic, cost, crowding, etc.) the climate makes up for it. There are plenty of options for outdoor fun… do I head to the beach for some fun in the sun since it’s 75 degrees, do I head to the mountains since there is plenty of snow, or do I take to the trails behind my home? The beach is 30 minutes away (traffic π ), the mountains are 90 minutes away (traffic π ), or it’s a 15 minute ride to the trailhead (nice day could equal traffic π ). See a pattern?
I HATE TRAFFIC!!!
Anyway, I attached a picture of the view from my front porch.
What’s it like in your neck of the woods? (Sorry but that’s a hick hillbilly as I get
)

Sweet, those Florida sunsets are almost as nice as my California sunsets… but mine are world famous thanks to The Beachboys! π

Hey T., are the pics you’ve posted that same greenbelt that’s near your home? If so, how long is the greenbelt? Is there a loop? In Fullerton, the next city over, there is a 13 mile loop “The Fullerton Loop” aka “The Loop” that gets a big crowd daily.

Yea I know California has EVERYTHING and I would love to visit someday to play on land and in the water but I still love my Florida plus the caves are here….I bet our blue hairs can push their walkers faster than yours…O WAIT,all of yours moved here to die already- December 20, 2012 at 6:20 pm
The Sunset Valley greenbelt (the one I have been riding lately) is pretty short. Good for about an hour and a half ride of amateur singletrack and doubletrack.
About 2 miles away is the Barton Creek greenbelt. It is about 6 miles one way of some serious singletrack.- December 21, 2012 at 12:23 am

Damn, sorry brother but you’re too late! I’ve attached a picture of the last one in Cali, we put her on a plane today… she should be basking in your Florida sun tomorrow! Enjoy!!!
p.s. You could probably catch her at your favorite watering hole tonight… lucky!
p.p.s. We sent her pet troll with her too, he’s pictured with her and her fat niece from Texas. Pay no mind to his hairy back or banana hammock!
p.p.p.s. Can you say floppy mooseknuckle?
