Did you ride your Barracuda today? I took my A2M to the Barton Creek Greenbelt this weekend. And the old bike kept up with the new high tech bikes just fine.
So don’t just keep those Barracuda’s hanging on your trophy display.. Ride’em

I WISH….my shoulder is fubar, son is not happy that we can not ride….but glad to hear that somebody made it out and had a good ride. And you hit on a point that I have wonder about…do you really need long travel and diskbrakes on a crosscountry bike…
The picture of the stack of rocks…TRADITION I take when you go to that spot…There is a dome room in Ginnie springs cave that we do the same thing…do you have anymore pictures from that ride…would like to see what you guys ride…

    Great post!

I’ll be taking a nice ride this weekend (it’s a long weekend here in Canada) and posting a few images.

I ride every single day unless I’m sick or we’ve gone out of town. I have to… I can’t explain it, it’s like doing artwork… I do that every day because I have to for whatever reason. I guess it’s some sort of therapy, maybe personal time, who knows? I think riding is cathartic! Whatever I don’t want to take with me into the next day, grab a bike and leave it on the road. Just the same, a ride first thing in the morning, especially when most of the world is still snoozin’, is hard to beat! I’ve often wondered about that… what do people do that don’t ride (or create art, music, etc.)… do they just watch the boob tube? What a sad life!!! The way I see it, my ability to ride is my daily reminder to be thankful, so many people are unable to enjoy the experience of riding… I never want to take that for granted!

I took my A2M for a 6 mile ride in the back yard greenbelt yesterday. I finally got the rear derailleur adjusted properly. It was a lot of fun. I kind of like the stiff frame..

Nice shot…looks like spots here where the trails are done in the old mining pits. Was the total 6 mile run like that or changed through out the distance.

I pulled out the Dos Equis XX Team today for a little ride at the Sunset Valley greenbelt. I had a couple of issues. The steering was a little crooked, rear brake cable was a little tight, and my seat post inched down during the ride, Dang, I need one of those multi-tools. Maybe Santa will put one in my stocking.

I rode the A2R this weekend at the Greenbelt near the house. At one point I stopped to take a wiz deep in the woods, and spotted this peeper with binoc’s checking me out.. Whatever..
