This looks like a gem to me… you Jersey Cudaheads should get on this before the ad goes dead (sorry, no contact info). The bike has pair of Avid/Problem Solvers cable length adapters to run v-brakes, those cost $30.00 alone… so you know it might have cantilever shift/brake pods but it looks like Grip Shift to me. Running v-brakes with the Rollamajig is the same mod I did on my A2Limited. The silver Manitou fork looks to be ’96 to ’98 but I’m no expert.I can’t remember which ‘Cuda had an aluminum frame (check the bubble welds in the derailleur pic) and a silver/white paint job… anyone care to solve the mystery?

I talked to the guy, it’s a BS and I think a 16. It’s about an hour north of my house.- April 16, 2011 at 3:24 pm
Right on! I knew someone back there would have been on it, well done! Cuda, are you taking a road trip? That current set up seems wacky to me… the seat is low compared to the riser bars… makes it look like an around the neighborhood hybrid cruiser. Yuck!
I guess I’m a sucker for aesthetics but I really dig the matching blue anodized rims and chainring (never a fan of that Sugino “Impel”/”Imperial” crank though). I’d dump that riser bar and find a matching blue Hyperlite flat bar… maybe a blue Tioga seatpost or stem too. Sweet ride on the cheap!

Yeah, I like the matching blue as well, it’s a cool color scheme. I considered it but I’m spending my extra cash building the A2E, I should have some more pics soon. I’d be more tempted if it was a higher level cuda and bigger. And your right, it’s definately set up as a hybrid cruiser.
