Hi!

I bought this bike a few months ago and paid way too much $400 (i'm a sucker ). I didn't know shit about bikes then and still don't know too much now. I just wanted something vintage for recreational riding (lol ...like a hipster).

Anyways, this bike is up for trade for a safer MTB/Hybrid. It is a 1994 A2E serial # AE3110075. This thing needs a major overhaul which I can't do . ...I could, but how much is it gonna cost me? Argh!?

I replaced some parts and most of those are not included with the trade. I'm keeping the wheelset, seat, and brake pads you see in the picture (hey i'm cheap after getting ripped off). Don't worry, I'll put all the originals back on. I also replaced the melted elastomers from the fork with a spring conversion kit... they are included (and the melted parts too).

Please look at the pics below to see the condition of the bike. It rides well, but shifting sucks half the time! Needs some serious TLC and maybe parts?! Please let me know what you got NO Huffies or walmart type bikes! I would like something respectable for a trade

Thanks for the offer, but i've decided to try and restore the bike (I have to learn somehow). I purchased a new MTB (expensive) over the weekend and now have something to ride. Thanks again for the offer.

Want to trade for the Schwinn Mesa? It is in top condition, shifts great, aluminum frame, Rock Shock. And absolutely no rust on anything. This bike is a 9 out of 10. And unlike the Barracuda, the Schwinn company is still in business. This bike was not a "chain store" bike but was purchased at a high-end bike shop in Houston. I would consider a swap without wheels to keep the shipping down. I am in Texas.
