How's the weather?

Mornin' all-

I got back from my morning run, I was so pleased with the clear weather, I had to grab the camera and snap a shot. For all the detractors to living in SoCal (traffic, cost, crowding, etc.) the climate makes up for it. There are plenty of options for outdoor fun... do I head to the beach for some fun in the sun since it's 75 degrees, do I head to the mountains since there is plenty of snow, or do I take to the trails behind my home? The beach is 30 minutes away (traffic  ), the mountains are 90 minutes away (traffic  ), or it's a 15 minute ride to the trailhead (nice day could equal traffic  ). See a pattern?

I HATE TRAFFIC!!!

Anyway, I attached a picture of the view from my front porch.

What's it like in your neck of the woods? (Sorry but that's a hick hillbilly as I get :D )

I would love to be able to hop on the bike and ride out to some trails but not how my area is...we load the bikes up and hit the interstate and drive to one of the MTB parks.

P.S.....What the hell are those things behind the houses up in the sky???

Sweet, those Florida sunsets are almost as nice as my California sunsets... but mine are world famous thanks to The Beachboys!

Hey T., are the pics you've posted that same greenbelt that's near your home? If so, how long is the greenbelt? Is there a loop? In Fullerton, the next city over, there is a 13 mile loop "The Fullerton Loop" aka "The Loop" that gets a big crowd daily.

The Sunset Valley greenbelt (the one I have been riding lately) is pretty short. Good for about an hour and a half ride of amateur singletrack and doubletrack.
About 2 miles away is the Barton Creek greenbelt. It is about 6 miles one way of some serious singletrack.

Sounds like you have some good options depending on how much time you have and how you're feeling that day. Nice!

Any of you other Cudaheads have anything to contribute?

Oh, what temps are we talking Mix & Vin? The rest of your too!
