A year later... thanks!

I'm not a big flag waver... kinda' cross to my punker ethos, but I just want to take a moment to reflect and say thank you to those that protect and preserve the daily liberties we enjoy!
May 2nd will be a year to the day that Navy Seals Team 6 took out O.B.Laden. We discussed this in class today with my high school students, I can tell you the overwhelming collective thought is that the world is a better, safer place with him gone. They grew up with the terror of 9/11 and they are glad he is gone.
So, for the feelings of security and the sacrifices made, I want to thank anyone who served or still serves in any capacity to protect our way of life. My students are thankful and proud of the men and women who do the job that they would not want to do. Every single time I hold my little angel or I watch her rip down the street on her "banana seat" bike, I know there are people watching over "us" so she can ride without fear!
Thank you!!!
p.s. Osama the Sh*thead must have soiled himself when that came through the door!!!
