Project "Resto Cuda"

Post by mingodog »

here is just a quick mock up of what I'm going to try to do. Went with the Manitou 2 afterall instead of the WB. Wheels saddle are not the ones I'll be using. Just a quick peak of whats to come. ;)

I noticed the steering tube still needs to be cut and thought it was odd to have that old of forks that had not been cut down yet....You found those as N.O.S I take....wow who hung on to those that long...
Relax and have deep water thoughts.

Still have my old Manitou 2 that I just had rebuilt, and they run like new...can't put them on my cuda though, wrong size tube..otherwise I'd switch mine over. Love the 2s.

Hit up frizzlefries, he's had half a dozen Mani crowns for sale.

http://www.ebay.com/csc/frizzlefries/m. ... te=1&rt=nc

None are currently listed but maybe he has a few stashed away still.

Good luck!

Yeah I picked that up on ebay, the forks came off my 97 Gary Fisher Paragon and had a 1 1/4" steerer tube so I had to swap it out, oh and it will be cut before I hit the trails

I've got an old Mani2 I'd part with if you need the crown/steerer..
I also have a Manitou Sport, if that one would work also?
