As I understand it, the early '93 A2L frames were US made, something to do with them being a team model but once Dos Equis came on board, that became the team model and the A2L was outsourced to Taiwan to fill dealer orders. That's why the A2L was a 1993 only model, it was developed in '92 for the '93 catalog and effectively replaced by the XX Team frame. The only way I know the difference is the Tange "Mountain Bike" MTB Double Butted CrMo decal, you can see the difference mine (1st photo) and the frame on Ebay.
Looks like a good deal on a clean frame and the shipping isn't outrageous either.
Ok, learn something there, I thought first generation Cudas were all made in Durango Co. but now know even early Cuda frames were not all created equal.
