Forgive me if I am committing a faux pas by posting a question related to a non Cuda frame, but I figured this would be the best consulting group I could turn to!
Anyone know who made this frame? Is it an old prototype Manitou?

Hey-
I'm pretty sure that frame is an early Dagger, before they started using the Amp Research rear triangle. It looks like their downhill model with all the gussets and bracing.
Here is a link to RetroBike UK, it has a good write up with pics of a late 90's Dagger with the Amp rear triangle... the frame (Easton Elite front, square tubing on the stays, Yeti/Ringle cable guides) similarities are still there, just a different pivot point and design.

Still a very doable price at $50.00, I would try to retrofit a used Amp rear triangle because the repair is hideous and I'd never trust that amateur job!!!

Thanks for the info Neo, that is a sweet looking frame!
I agree about the weld, Busch league job...
I didn't bid on it, curious to see what it went for.
