95 Cuda Comp 18" $500 USD

Post by logan »

I've decided to part with my Cuda. She just doesn't get ridden any more. It is full XT, including rapid fire shifters and V brakes, which I installed when they came out. I was never a fan of grip shift. I replaced the Judy with a SID XC in early 2000's and it's been ridden offroad 2-3 times since. The bike was tuned up this summer and I've ridden it once around the neighborhood with my daughter. The bike is in perfect mechanical condition, with cosmetic scratches(no dents or cracks). I can send more pictures if interested. I can be reached @ 316-765-3462 or seanorlogan@gmail.com.

Thanks for looking!

Sean

A low miles Comp is a find... I agree with you on the upgrades, but that price tag is going to be hard for anyone on here to choke down. Not that I'm a fan of doing this, you may want to part it out on Ebay. Just about anyone that frequents Ebay will want that drivetrain and your Sid for sure. The fans on this site keep up with Ebay when it comes to these 'Cudas, you may find a few members willing to give you a fair price for that frame... maybe even a bidding war over your frame. Sorry, I hate to sound like a vulture but 500 clams is a lot compared to the prices we're used to seeing on Craigslist that make it before our eyes in this Marketplace section.

Too bad, I never like to see a 'Cuda getting passed along... I'm always optimistic that a new owner will give it a loving home and some trail time.

Good luck with the sale!

eBay is my next option. I just thought Id throw it on the board and see if anyone is interested. I was offered $550 a little over a year ago, but couldn't part with it. I just bought a new ride, so now it has to go. I haven't seen many on eBay, except for some new in the box, which appear like fakes to me.

Yep... not many 'Cudas on Ebay as of late (besides the crackhead seller asking outrageous prices), that's one reason why I suggested Ebay. Since the members on this forum are good about watching Ebay, I figured your Comp (as a frame) would be of interest to a few of the Cudaheads.

Having sold quite a few things over the years on Ebay, if you're not pressed for dough, I'd suggest waiting until after the holidays. I've learned the hard way that peoples' loose money is pretty tight this time of year and you don't get top dollar.

Again, good luck!

But... If Santa brings Christmas cash, a quick ebay closing just after Christmas could be profitable.

Oh, mister upbeat this year... well then Mr. Mix, I'm expecting something nice in my stocking... those two lumps of coal aren't going to cut it this year Ebenezer!!! Logan's frame is too tall for my riding taste but a pair of folding race tires would do nicely!

Okay... it's right about now when Sithlord adds a snarky comment about a 12 inch
